Miss Sarah A. First, age 79 of 22 Blymer Ave., died Wednesday at Mansfield General Hospital following a brief illness.  She was born in Kansas on March 31, 1888, and lived most of her life in the Mansfield-Lucas area.

Miss First was a graduate of the Lakeside Hospital School of Nursing, Cleveland, and had served the nursing profession for over 50 years.  She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a foster sister, Mrs. Harry Brubaker, of 1357 Sharon Rd.

Services will be conducted in the Finefrock Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday by her pastor, Dr. Warren C. Johnson.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Lucas.
